The LaSPM platform, recently integrated into the CNRS Ingénierie network of platforms (https://plateformes.insis.cnrs.fr/), provides a unique infrastructure in France dedicated to laser and optical diagnostics of plasmas.
It combines picosecond (ultra-short pulse laser coupled with a streak camera) system suitable for highly collisional plasmas, and nanosecond (short pulse laser coupled with a monochromator and a photomultiplier) for weakly collisional plasmas. Its main diagnostics tool is based on LIF and TALIF (Laser Induced Fluorescence/Two-photon Absorption Laser Induced Fluorescence), allowing the absolute measurement of atomic and molecular densities.
In terms of optical emission spectroscopy, spectrometers of various focal lengths (10 cm to 2 m) offer access to many plasma parameters: electron density, electric field, rotational or vibrational temperatures.
Laurent Invernizzi provides complete scientific support for the platform, from experimental implementation to the interpretation of the results.
For academic and industrial partners, services are priced by the week: k€2.7 for academic partners, k€5 for private partners.
