The PPANAM axis gathers teams with multidisciplinary competences, including process engineering, electronics and physics of materials. PPANAM also relies on strong collaborations with the two other axes of the LSPM.

This axis, constituted by a majority of experimentalists, has various techniques of elaboration and a large park of tools for characterization of plasmas and materials.

The instrumentation, X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy services as well as the proximity center of the Sorbonne Paris Nord University are also widely solicited.

These experimental approaches are completed by plasma modeling (modeling of physicochemical mechanisms and flows, electromagnetic modeling) and modeling of structural and physical properties of materials (ab initio, phenomenological models).
